Honors Society

Southern Avenue Charter Elementary School celebrates and rewards our top-performing scholars in grades 3rd-5th.  The SACS Honor Society Program allows scholars to participate in honors classes, community service projects, and school ambassadors.

During 2021-2022 school year SACS Honors Society participated in various opportunities:

• Orchestra seating at the Broadway Musical, “The Lion King”;
• Community events: Memphis Can Good Drive;
• Alley II Dan Company; and
• Day Trips.

Students are celebrated with 85% or higher academic achievement. STAR Scholar monthly for showcasing good citizenship.  SACS is the home of STARS (Scholars Taking Amazing Responsibility).
